Listing Your Business in The Green Roof Directory

Before You Begin
Although not compulsory, we strongly recommend that you create a free account before submitting any listings as this will allow you to return at a future date and easily amend your listing details should you wish. You can register through 'Login / Register' in the menu at the top of the page.

Submitting to the Category of your Choice
To submit your business details to the directory, please read the information below regarding the various listing plans and then proceed to the category you want to list your business in before clicking the 'Suggest Listing' menu item. Category sections are reached from the home page.

The listing process is quite simple from that point on - select the category you want to appear in from the list and the listing plan you desire. If you choose the ''Multiple Category Listing'' plan then click on "Add to extra categories - ''Multiple Category Listing'' plan only [click to display]" and select the extra categories in which you want to appear [to a maximum of 3 extra].

For either plan complete all the relevant fields in the form at the bottom and press save. If you want to amend details then you may do so at this stage by clicking the edit button next to the relevant field, otherwise continue to the payment section by clicking ''submit listing''. As the directory has a powerful search facility built into it we recommend that you provide as much detail as possible when completing the listing application. The email address you provide will not be published in the public area of the directory, it will be used for administrative purposes only.

Payment is through the Paypal service, after submitting your listing details you will automatically be transferred to Paypal''s secure server where payment can be made by credit or debit card. You do not require an account with Paypal in order to use their service.

Listing Plans

''Single Listing'' - £55

List your business or website in a single category for a year. Add a logo and description of up to 1200 characters along with your business details. Your listing will also contain a direct link to the website you cite along with a small thumbnail image of its front page.

''Multiple Category Listing'' - £85

Contains the same features as the Single Listing plan while allowing you to list in up to three extra categories of your choosing. Designed for companies with a wide range of services or products that would not adequately fit within a single category. List from an appropriate category page as outlined above, select the Multiple Category Listing plan and then select up to three additional categories from the expanded list.

Site of the Day

This shows a site listing to the visitor, randomly selected from the pool of approved and live directory listings.
